The Brief
Lightbox are multi award winning documentary makers with previous titles including 'Searching For Sugarman', 'LA 92' and 'Man On Wire. Producers Simon Chinn and Jonathan Chinn have received Oscars, Emmys and Baftas for their work, and continue to push the boundaries of cinematic documentary. With offices in both London and LA, Lightbox is a well renowned production company in the UK and the USA. They challenged Kota with delivering them the best website in their industry, a challenge that we welcomed with open arms.

The Approach
This portfolio website was all about showcasing the great work Lightbox produce. Visually, we tried to convey the cinematic feeling of the documentaries they make by using a dark palette and editorial style layout. The project case studies featured trailer videos and press sections as well as all the important credits and info. Due to the amount of awards Lightbox have been nominated for, we built a stand alone Awards page to list them all.
