Gratte Brothers are a UK Building Services company who specialise in services ranging from Mechanical and Electrical Design to Security Systems and Catering installations. Founded over 70 years ago as a family business, the company has now moved into its third generation, which was the perfect time to partner with us to transform their online presence!

The Approach
We produced for Gratte Brothers a modern and engaging website that provides clear information on their expertise, as well as focusing on the personal and human approach they pride themselves on, both with clients and their 650 staff across the country. In addition to the design and development of the website, we art directed photoshoots at Gratte Brothers HQ, large scale construction sites, and restaurant fit-outs. The concept behind the photoshoots was to humanise the company, setting up more lifestyle type images featuring human faces, smiling and aspirational poses. We then added these to custom carousels that changed between slides using 5 different split panels to make up the image, giving a nod towards the mechanical nature of the business. This large website features detailed services pages, project case studies, team culture and interview pages, as well as job vacancies with a job application functionality.
